Sweden Day at Fantastic Fudan!

Our second Sweden Day at Fudan University was a super success! The location, in front of the eastern gate and cantines, was better than we could’ve hoped for. As many students had class even on a Saturday, the crowds started to gather by lunch. At lot of students were curious as these events rarely happens at Fudan. And lucky them, they got to meet Volvo Group, Ericsson, SCA and new for this time, Elekta!

Our cultural events were also as fantastic as ever. We got to borrow real Swedish folk wear, and so many that even our chinese friends from the Nordic Center could wear them! Thanks to the Swedish Consulate!

We also hade a visit from another partner, the Swedish Pavilion! Go to the website of the Swedish Pavilion for more pics!

Our biggest thanks and love to the Nordic Center, with project leaders Eva and Gavin, who help out with such joy and interest! You guys are the best!

We have all heard about the climate changes and how different greenhouse gases affects our planet and our living conditions. It’s all sad and depressing news, and it makes us want to lay down and just give up, don’t it?

Well, stop with that nonsense, see the opportunities and applaud the ones who tries to make a change! One of Volvo Group’s newest introductions to the market is a smart phone application that can help you reduce your CO2 footprint! It’s called Commute Greener.

I’m going to copy paste this now because I can’t say this better than Volvo; Commute Greener “monitors individual progress against your personal CO2 reduction targets, track the distance, time and CO2 emission of your daily commute and share progress and experience in a trusted, online community”!

And to all game loving chinese guys that we met so far, you can COMPETE with your friends, family and colleagues!

1. Listen to SCA and their Asia President Stephen Dykerhoff at their lecture at Thursday 7.00 pm.

2. Listen to Elekta at Friday 7.00 pm.

3. SWEDEN DAY!

We will provide dinner at the lectures, so bring your resumé and load with questions!

Sweden Day Marketing!

Today we had this amazing marketing event for Sweden Day! Outside of the caferteria by the C-building we blew up the back of our stage for Sweden Day to get painted. And as some of us handed out Swedish flags and flyers others assisted students who happily spray painted on our stage back!

We had some great fun!
