Now that we have discussed a bit about Chinese and Swedish culture differences and prejudices it’s time to focus on the project and tell you what we have been doing. This week four of the project members flew to China to meet our partners at Tsinghua and Fudan University and attend meetings with our future becoming Project Partners. We wish them good luck!

The remaining team in Sweden has also being working hard. Today, as part of the Swedish-China Trade Council, Project China helped out and participated in the Sweden-China Business Cooperation and Innovation Forum. The forum is an event held by our proud Silver Partner, the Swedish Trade Council in Stadshuset. During the event we managed to gain new valuable contacts and mingled with the top representatives of well-known Swedish and Chinese companies as Ericsson, Air China etc. We witnessed Ericsson, Sandvik and Scania signing contracts worth of hundreds of millions of dollars with the Chinese delegation, listened to Sibel during the official lunch in the “Blue Hall” of Stadshuset, and perhaps the most exciting thing of all, got to see the Chinese Vice President Xi Jinping, who by many are considered the next Chinese President!

To summarize, today is a day of awesomeness and success for Project China 2010!
