Sweden Day

Sweden Day 2008 was an event held in Beijing summer 2008 at China’s most prestigious universities Tsinghua and Peking University. The purpose was to create rewarding meeting opportunities between Chinese top students and Swedish international companies. Over 1500 students visited Sweden Day.

Sweden Day was an exclusive opportunity for Swedish international companies to meet Chinese top students in a relaxed environment.

Sweden Day included these events:

• A job fair at Tsinghua University with Swedish companies, where they got an excellent opportunity to meet Chinese top students.
  
• Four lectures about Sweden and our Swedish partner companies at Peking University
• An exhibition about Sweden, Swedish students, Swedish cleantech-companies, Swedish history and culture. We also showed a short movie about Chinese exchange students in Sweden.
• A workshop at the Forbidden City about climate entrepreneurship in cooperation with WWF and and GlobalFOCUS, where both Swedish and Chinese students participated. The entire day was filmed and will be shown on CCTV, Chinese central television!
• Sweden Day ended with an unforgettable banquet for all the participating companies, chosen students and specially invited guests.

We also helped our gold partners to organize excursions for chosen students as well as a recruiting campaign.
